QCADCAM Trial 3.3

QCAD/CAM Trial by RibbonSoft GmbH is a time‑limited evaluation of QCAD/CAM, a 2D CAD/CAM solution for designing technical drawings and preparing CNC jobs. It combines QCAD’s professional drafting tools with a CAM module to turn contours and geometry into machine‑ready toolpaths and code for routers, mills, plasma, laser, and waterjet cutters.

Key capabilities:

• Create precise 2D drawings with QCAD’s familiar drafting environment
• Convert geometry into toolpaths for profiling and engraving
• Choose cut side (inside/outside), apply tool/kerf offsets, add lead‑in/lead‑out, tabs/bridges, set start points, and control cut order
• Assign machining parameters by layer or path (tool, feed rate, spindle speed, cut depth)
• Preview toolpaths and export code via built‑in, configurable post‑processors for common CNC controllers
• Import and export standard CAD formats, including DXF and DWG
• Available for Windows, macOS, and Linux

The trial is intended for evaluation. A full license unlocks unrestricted use and support.
